Ivan Tetteh Essegbey

Ivan is a Senior Coordinator of Monitoring and Evaluation overseeing Health Management Information System activities of the National Catholic Health Service (NCHS).

Prior to working with NCHS, he worked at the Ministry of Health, Biostatistics Division for over fifteen years and was a lecturer at his alma mater, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

Apart from managing the routine health data from health facilities, he also conducts surveys and operational researches. His core duty is the collection and analysis of health data for the Directorate.  He trains Health Information Officers within the NCHS as well as other CHAG facilities.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Information Systems from Manchester University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the KNUST and Diploma in Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon. As a certified Improvement Advisor from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, USA he coordinates improvement activities of the NCHS.
